April 16th-20th,Professor Des Richardson, the Chair in Cancer Cell Biology and NHMRC Senior Principal Research Fellow and Ms Senice So, International Relations Manager, Office for Global Health of Sydney Medical School at the University of Sydney visited Zhejiang University School of Medicine. Xiaoming Li , Executive Dean of School of Medicine, Zhengping Xu, Director of Medical Center and Associate Dean of School of Medicine, Zhouwen Chen, Associate Dean of School of Medicine, Wei Yang, Deputy Director of School of Basic Medical Sciences played the host.
During the visit, the two sides had a deep discussion regarding the potential collaboration in the area of visiting students programs including summer school and clinic elective program, joint PhD student supervision, and faculty training. Professor Richardson also gave four inspiring lectures to ZJU’s master classes and hold seminars to ZJU’s research groups and PhD students in the field of tumor biology, drug development, neurodegenerative conditions and so on.
The delegation also visited the ZJE institute, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Core Facilities, Zhejiang University School of Medicine.
