The Commencement for International Students of 2017 batch was held at the auditorium of School of Medicine on March 15th, 2017. The graduation ceremony was attended by the Vice-Chancellor of Zhejiang University, the associate dean of International College, associate deans of School of Medicine, heads and staff of administrative department of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, parents and relatives of 72 graduates of batch 2011.
Professor Fang, Xiangming delivered the opening speech that raised the curtains of the Commencement. Professor Song, Yonghua, Executive Vice President of Zhejiang University, Professor Lu, Zhengzhong, Associate dean of International College and Professor Chen, Zhi, Executive Dean of Medical School respectively delivered a speech after the School Anthem. Ms. SARA ABDULAMEER ALI AHMED on behalf of the graduation students expressed her deep impression of the past five and a half years’ campus life and realized that to be a doctor is not a job but a lifestyle.
President Song, Yonghua set right fringe for each graduate and then issued them the diplomas and degreecertificates.
The commencement was wrapped up with taking a group photo.
