November 28th, a delegation from University of Leuven visited Zhejiang University School of Medicine. The delegation included Prof. Thorrez Lieven from Department of Development and Regeneration, and Prof. Callewaer Geert from Department of Molecular Cell Biology. Dr. Zhouwen Chen, the associate dean for international affairs and Prof. Hongwei Ouyang, the director ofDepartment of Biomedical Sciences played the host.
During the discussion, Dr. Chen and Prof. Lieven respectively gave a brief introduction of Zhejiang University School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine,University of Leuven. The two sides also talked about the details in student exchange program both in clinical elective and scientific training. Possible research collaboration in regeneration was also talked about to wrap up the meeting.
