On March 23th, the Commencement for International Students was held at our auditorium of Medical School Building. 66 international students from 14 countries have completed their studies successfully after five and a half years. The grand ceremony was hosted by Professor Fang Xiangming, Associate Dean of Medical School.
Professor Song Yonghua, Executive Vice President of Zhejiang University, delivered the opening speech. He expected earnestly that graduates will continue to work hard and devote themselves to the cause of human health care. Professor Wang Li, Dean of International School, expressed his congratulations to graduates for completing their studies successfully and hoped they would keep their Alma Mater in mind, try their best to make Zhejiang University world-famous, and disseminate friendly communication between China and other countries. Professor Chen Zhi, Executive Dean of Medical School, expected that graduates would bear the medical oath in mind, be stick to the habit of lifelong learning, and keep the faith and passion of seeking truth and innovation. Ms. Annapurna Sadhukl and Mr. Thanapon Napawar, on behalf of the graduation students, expressed their deep impression on our university and thanks for the warmhearted instructions from their teachers during their precious college life.
After taking the medical oath, all graduates were delivered degrees. The President and deans shook hands, set right fringe, awarded diploma, took photos with each graduate in the gown. At last, every graduate received a gift- a ring engraved with Zhejiang University logo, symbolizing the university’s care and best wishes for their bright future.
