We, Zhejiang University School of Medicine (ZUSM) trace the root to the beginning of 20^th century. The School was founded by Dr. HAN Qingquan on June 1^st, 1912, among the earliest medical schools established by the Chinese. This year we will be celebrating the 110^th anniversary after an arduous but fruitful journey.

A look back at 110 years, we have grown to be a leader in medical education and research in China. We have nurtured a diverse and inclusive community of individuals dedicated to alleviating suffering and improving health for all through excellent teaching and learning, discovery and innovation, service and scholarship, shaped by the motto “Seeking truth and innovation with benevolence and humane proficiency”.

We honor the unique perspectives our partners offer us. We commit to working with you to advance opportunities and solutions to the world’s pressing health challenges, especially during these challenging times. The notable suite of events we are staging this year will bring together the entire community, and forge our closer partnerships with the international community. We expect greater engagement, concerted efforts and contribution toward the good of humanity.
