The Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine (SAHZU) and Harvard University T.H. Chan School of Public Health (HSPH) reached a collaboration agreement on November 19, focusing on clinical research education and capacity building. Prof. WANG Jian'an, head of SAHZU and Prof. Michelle Williams, dean of HSPH signed on the agreement virtually with multiple leadership of Zhejiang University and Zhejiang provincial government as the witness of this exciting moment.
Prof. Michelle Wliams and Mr. PENG Bo, vice director of Department of Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial Government delivered remarks at the ceremony. Prof. Williams congratulates the formation of this collaboration and states her expectation for this program in her remarks: we are truly excited about this collaboration and look forward to the many benefits that both schools will experience as we work together to share knowledge and build capacity in clinical epidemiology and research methods.
SAHZU has long endeavored to realize its vision to be an internationally recognized and branded hospital with distinguished clinical specialties. The hospital has built collaborative programs in international medicine, joint training and joint clinical research etc. with over 30 medical centers/institutions in 11 countries, including UCLA Health and Weill Cornell Medicine at the United States, Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin at Germany, and Grenoble Alpes University Hospital at France etc.
